
This is the Explorer of the Seas, one of five Voyager-class cruise ships built by Royal Caribbean International. Voyager-class ships are the third largest passenger ships in the world, after Cunard's Queen Mary 2 and Royal Caribbean's own Freedom Class.

This yacht can cater to over 3100 guests at a time. Activities which passengers aboard the Explorer of the Seas can undertake include rock climbing, roller skating, golf, table tennis, shuffleboard, basketball and water sports.


The Explorer of the Seas yacht comes equipped with sports and leisure facilities such as a rock climbing wall, inline roller skating rink, ice skating rink, a nine hole miniature golf course, golf simulators, ping pong tables, a shuffle board court and a full sized basketball court.

Other amenities on board the Explorer of the Seas include a casino, swimming pools, hot tubs, fitness center, day spa, library and a wedding chapel. The ship has 24X7 Internet Access. For food it has a three storey main dining room and restaurants such as the Windjammer Café, Johnny Rockets (1950s-style) and Portofino that offers Italian food. The Explorer also has themed bars and lounges.

For the comfort of passengers, the Explorer of the Seas has enhanced staterooms, well decorated interiors and state of the art architecture. This cruise ship is so technologically advanced, it even features the University of Miami Ocean Lab, a state-of-the-art oceanographic and atmospheric science lab.
