British luxury-car manufacturer Bentley has given the GT Speed Convertible a top-speed of 202 miles per hour, making it the world’s faster four-seat convertible. The 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed sports car has a 625PS W12 engine that gives peak power of 616 horsepower, which is sure to appeal to those who love fast cars. This car is expected to cost around US $241,000, which is an expensive price to pay for a car in this segment.

This 2014 Bentley GT Speed Convertible will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show, scheduled to be held on 14th January 2014 in Detroit, Michigan. Some features of this gorgeous sports car are:

• Rifled exhaust tail pipes,

The interior of the car is lavishly designed, and has unique diamond-quilted upholstery made from hide. It also has the Mulliner Driving Specifications of other luxury Bentley cars.

The Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible also has 8-speed transmission, through which the 625PS W12 engine can be powered to a speed of 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds. This transmission feature of the Bentley sports car also helps the car deliver a 15 improvement in fuel-efficiency, driving range and emissions.

The Continental GT Speed Convertible car of Bentley has been tested in a variety of extreme weather conditions, to make sure that it drives well in the worst of weather a driver could possibly face. This included heavy snowfall, and pounding monsoon rain. The sports car retains heat, and is said to be luxurious and comfortable even on the iciest days.

The US price of the 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed car has not been announced as yet, but it is expected to cost around $10,000 to $20,000 more than the starting price of the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed car, which was about $226,000. The car will be available for sale at selected Bentley showrooms, during the summer.
