The Charade superyacht, which was originally built for Microsoft investor Paul Allen has been listed for sale for $13.9 million. It is being brokered by Merle Wood, owner of Merle Wood and Associates, a yacht broking company based in Florida. Almost everyone who owns a luxury yacht would know about Merle Wood, as his company is believed to have brokered yacht deals worth more than $25 million.
Some of the billionaire clients of Merle Wood include Roman Abramovich, Carl Icahn, Larry Ellison and David Geffen, who all own some of the most stylish luxury yachts in the world. Yacht broker Merle Wood has now listed the Charade superyacht for the astounding price of $13.9 million.

The idea for the Charade luxury yacht originally came from the offices of De Voogt Naval Architects. This 154 foot super yacht is an electronically steered steel vessel, and has luxurious interior furnishings designed by McMillan of New York/Luis Rey. It has five beautifully-furnished spacious staterooms, which include a master suite with its private dining salon, sky lounge, all fresco aft deck, and his and hers baths.

Many rich billionaires have used the Charade superyacht for their parties and events. Bill Gates honeymooned on the yacht in 1994, while fashion house owner Giorgio Armani is also known to have thrown lavish parties for Hollywood celebrities aboard this super yacht.
