This Mitchell and King car-cleaning solution offers an anti-UV coating which also works as an anti-static solution. It does not contain any synthetic elements, and is safe for different types of bodywork and paints used on luxury cars. We haven't tried and tested it yet, so you'll have to wait a bit for the review.

The fragrance of each bottle of luxury car shampoo can be customised according to the needs of the buyer. Clients have a range of fragrances to choose from, such as Jelly Beans, Passion Fruit and Chocolate Truffle. Once the customer chooses a fragrance, John Robert Phillips Johnstone (the main artisan) will blend it into the SPA car shampoo.

Buyers can also customise the name and message that will appear on the lead crystal bottle of each luxury car shampoo they purchase. Usain Bolt’s Gold Plated Custom Nissan GT-R for $100,000

Nissan created this customised gold-plated Nissan GT-R as part of their global marketing drive, and announced that they were auctioning it for $100,000 to benefit a charity supported by Usain Bolt.

Popular for his ‘lightening-bolt’ action after a win, Usain Bolt is a famous athlete who has won numerous gold medals at various international sporting events, including the 2012 London Olympics. Here's a photo of him with Nissan's pure solid gold-plated car.

Usain Bolt has signed a special deal with Nissan Motors, in which he has been named the brand ambassador for Nissan cars, and also the ‘Director of Excitement’. In recognition of Bolt’s achievements in athletics, Nissan will be auctioning this unique gold-plated Nissan GT-R to help Bolt’s ‘Usain Bolt Foundation’. This charity works to create educational and cultural opportunities for youngsters in Jamaica.

Mercedes-Benz Electric Car - SLS AMG Electric Drive

Wow, electric cars are everywhere, and check out this car by Mercedes Benz. Leading automobile brand Mercedes Benz launched their new electric car named the ‘SLS AMG Electric Drive’. Priced at $538,625, this car is one of the most expensive electric cars in the world. The SLS AMG Electric Drive is being touted as being emission free, and according to Mercedes Benz is the ‘world’s most powerful series-production electric car’.

Before I tell you about the features of the Mercedes Benz Electric Drive car, here’s a bit about its history. This car was first publicly rolled out way back in 2010, when it was known as the ‘SLS AMG E-Cell’. The SLS AMG Electric Drive is the electric-drive version of this prototype, and will be launched in the US market in June 2013, allowing people to buy it for a little more than half-a-million US dollars. Previously, the Mercedes Benz electric car was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show of 2012.

Features of the SLS AMG Electric Drive

The Mercedes Benz electric car has blue chrome finish, and is equipped with four compact electric motors. These motors generate a combined 740 horsepower, enabling the car to run at a speed of up to 250 kilometres per hour, with an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.

Other features of the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive car are:

• A lithium-ion high-voltage battery: This liquid-cooled battery contains energy content of 60 kWh, with a voltage of 400 volts. It contains 12 modules with 72 lithium-ion cells, which makes a total of 864 cells. The lithium-ion battery weighs about 548 kilograms, and has an electric load capacity of 600 kW. In addition, it can be fully charged in just three hours with a special 22kw wall box. If you aren’t using the wall box, the Mercedes Benz Electric Drive car will take about 20 hours to get fully charged.
• All-wheel drive with torque AMG Dynamics: The SLS AMG Electric Drive has four engine-four wheel all-wheel drive, which guarantees the highest driving dynamics, with high-safety in all weather conditions.
• Body shell: Of the Mercedes Benz electric car’s other features worth talking about is its lightweight body. The shell of the electric Mercedes Benz car is incredibly light, a part of the automobile giant’s recent lightweight strategy. It has a beautiful visual paint design, and is also aerodynamically perfect. 
• Car interiors: The SLS AMG Electric Drive has a sporty interior design, which matches the electric-blue exterior of the car. The seats are of exclusive black leather, with contrast stitching.

The car has ‘Electric Drive’ printed on its side, for that extra ‘showoff’ value. Rimac Concept One – World’s Most Expensive Electric Car

Currently, the world’s most expensive electric car is the Rimac Concept One car, priced at a heart-stopping US $1 million. This million dollar car is being produced by Rimac Automobili, an automotive startup based in Croatia. The company envisioned an extraordinary supercar with a new propulsion concept, in an attempt to blend sleek design with amazing horsepower. The result was the Rimac Concept One, an awesome supercar, which is sure to turn heads.

Features of the Electric Rimac Concept One Car

Rimac Automobili took around two years to produce the Rimac Concept One, which has been dubbed as the first electric hyper car in the world. This electric hypercar has a total of 1,088 horsepower under its hood, and ‘All Wheel Torque Vectoring’.

Golden BMW M5 in Moscow Russia

Well, here is another gold plated car. This golden BMW M5 was seen on the roads of the city of Moscow in Russia. Not so long ago, a gold plated Porche running on the Moscow roads had allegedly been hijacked, in the middle of the day, in the centre of the city. Well, some people are just not bothered about the rising crime rate in Moscow and have taken the risk of bringing out their gold plated customized cars for a spin.



Usually seen only in exhibitions and auto shows, such golden customized cars are really eye catching. This golden BMW M5 car is a high performance version of the BMW 5 series automobile manufactured by the M racing division of BMW. It can go from 0-100 kilometres in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/hour with electronic speed limiter.


The gold plated BMW M5 has several Formula One inspired engine and transmission controls, including launch control, dynamic stability control, and the option of changing to either automated or manual, as well as the speed at which shifts are completed. However, it costs much more than the usual BMW M5 as it is gold plated.

2009 Nissan Intima Concept Car

The Nissan Intima is a concept saloon for sophisticated millionaires who have a sharp eye for beauty and enjoy spending time in refined elegance and comfort. It has a quiet, efficient and environmentally friendly V6 clean diesel engine.

The interior of the Nissan Intima uses new artistic forms, materials and illumination. The front passenger's seat swivels around 80 degrees to the outside, welcoming passengers to the car. The instrument panel padding appears to "float" in between the wood grain panels while the center console incorporates a 'wave pattern'. The exterior styling of the Nissan Intima combines sharp-edged lines and organic panel surfaces over the subdued luster of its chrome finish. The advanced air conditioning system of the Nissan Intima Concept Car keeps the interior of the vehicle clean with its natural grape seed polyphenol filter that neutralizes pollen and other allergens.

The Nissan Intima concept car hints at Nissan's new generation saloon cars that embody the Modern Living Concept for car interiors featured in Nissan production cars such as the Teana, Tiida and Sylphy. It features concepts such as Nissan's Safety Shield, including Around View Monitor and Distance Control Assist System (DCAS).

Gold Mercedes Benz Car

If this was a solid gold Mercedes Benz it would be even more expensive.However, as gold as a material is not durable enough to make car components with, we have to assume that at best, it is a gold plated Mercedes Benz car.
