The Oculus is a 250 foot dolphin shaped yacht manufactured by Schöpfer Yachts. It is designed by E. Kevin Schöpfer, the founder and owner of this company. The Olulus can house around twelve guests comfortably and has the ability to move at speeds of up to 25 knots over long distances. Princess Moza, wife of the Prince of Qatar is one of the proud millionaire owners of this unique luxury yacht.
The exterior of the Oculus yacht gives it the look of a giant oceanic fish. The back part of the luxury yacht remains open with a roof that resembles the gigantic jaw of a dolphin or whale. A cleverly placed window goes to make the eye of the fish.
Inside, the ceilings of the Oculus yacht reach an impressive twelve feet. Main features of the yacht include a double-height dining room, an elevator, floor lighting extensions and retractable panels that protect the decks from swells during high wave action.
On the second level of the Oculus yacht is the millionaire owner's special suite which consist of living areas and bedchambers divided by a series of four freestanding tubes, which house bath and storage facilities. The third level contains the forward pilothouse and separate quarters for the captain.
The cost price of the Oculus luxury yacht is something in the range of $40- 100 million.
