Bernard Arnault – Art Collection

French business magnate Bernard Arnault is the number one art collector in the world. Owner of Louis Vuitton, he is the richest person in Europe, and is also the 4th richest person in the world. This gives him the money to purchase some of the rarest and most beautiful art pieces, as well as other collectables and vintage items.

Bernard Arnault has plans to build a contemporary arts centre in Paris, France, which will hold his carefully accumulated art collection and other collectables. This arts centre would be named the ‘Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation’. It will contain a range of exhibition galleries, as well as an auditorium and an indoor garden.

Bernard Arnault’s massive arts centre and museum will be designed by Frank Gehry, a renowned architect. The finished museum is expected to contain Bernard Arnault’s massive art collection, which will include:
  • Classic paintings by Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Henry Moore.
  • Modern paintings by Jeff Koons, Frank Serra, and Agnes Martin.
  • American artist Ellsworth Kelly’s 1968 abstract painting, Red White Blue (part of Bernard Arnault’s personal art collection).
