Santo Versace's Milan Home Listed for $63.8 Million


Santo Versace’s (Gianni Versace’s brother) home is Milan has been listed for sale at a price of $63.8 million. While the private residence and property looks quite simple from the outside, on the inside, it is an architectural masterpiece. This mansion truly manages to capture the glamour and artistic culture, which makes Milan one of the foremost fashion capitals of the world.

Santo Versace heads the Gianni Versace SpA, and is its current president and chief executive officer. He is the brother of late Gianni Versace and Donatella Versace (another famous fashion designer). The listing of Santo Versace’s Milan home comes a few months after Gianni Versace’s former Miami home, ‘Casa Casuarina’, was put up for sale for the unbelievable price of $125 million. This is the same home, on whose steps Gianni Versace was killed by Andrew Cunanan.

Santo Versace’s private residence is situated on Via de Diardini Milano in Milan, which is the only road in the city that is lined by trees. The mansion has four floors, with a huge 2,100 square metres of living space. The private residence also has a roof top terrace that measures 300 square metres, and a manicured private garden that is spread over 442 square metres of lush greenery. The bathroom has a beautifully tiled design.

Santo Versace’s Milan mansion has been described as one of the unique private estates of Milan, and is a rare example of post-war rationalist architecture. It was constructed in 1954, in the Modern architectural style, by two talented architects: Antonio Carminati and Carlo De Carli. The exclusive private residence comes with a floor plan, that consists of an octagon overlapping a rectangle.

While the main residence of the mansion is on the top four floors, the property also has a basement, with staff quarters, a cellar and other rooms.
