While Denise Rich had listed this New York penthouse for a whopping $65 million in January 2012, the home was finally bought for the much lower price of $54 million.

David Geffen is a music and movie executive, with a net worth of $5.6 billion. He established and owns a vast Hollywood-based empire, which includes Geffen Records and Dreamworks. His new New York penthouse measures about 12,000-square feet, and is located in the Parc Cinc Cooperative building on 785 Fifth Avenue, near Central Park.
