It is an exclusive freehold private island with 600 acres of private property, with a smaller satellite island. It has a house and other facilities in place, and has been listed for sale for the price of $10 million.

The Nananuicake island has an interesting history. It was first bought by Sir Harold Mitchell in 1974, and remained in the same family since then. Later on, Sir Harold Mitchell also purchased two adjacent freehold private islands, as an idyllic holiday retreat.
